Does anyone know any recipes that you can use tvp(textured vegetable protein) with? - textured vegetable protein

Like JC I use a lot, and treat them like meat in such situations, I have my meals I cook onion and garlic, spices and toast DVT in the "oil Ingredients for the sauce with a bowl of lasagna, I make the sauce, pasta , chili, Sloppy Joes, cabbage rolls and stuffed peppers.

He is very versatile and long for the months of dry in a bowl, I eat Ukrainian pierogi with mushrooms, barley, onion and TVP for Lent.

Textured vegetable protein Lasagna

Ingredients:
1 cup TVP ® (Textured Vegetable Protein)
7 / 8 cup boiling water
1 TB olive oil
1 / 2 cup chopped onion
1 (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
2 TB dried parsley
1 teaspoon ground oregano, Mediterranean Sea
1 teaspoon ground oregano
12 lasagna noodles (cooked according to instructions on the packaging)
1 (15 ounces) firm tofu (compressed and crushed stone)
1 cup soy mozzarella cheese, grated

Mix and textured vegetable protein side and with boiling water.

Sauté in olive oil, chopped onion, cook until transparent. Add chopped tomatoes and herbs. Bake for 20 minutes, add cooked vegetable proteins.

Cook the pasta according to package directions, directions. Drain noodles and several times with cold water. Set aside.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly oil 13x9-inch baking pan and set aside.

Arrange a single layer of noodles on the bottom of the pan. Starthalf of the sauce. Arrange 4 over noodles, then a layer of tofu that was pressed and crumbled *.

Arrange remaining noodles on top of tofu and drizzle with remaining sauce. If desired, spread with grated mozzarella cheese and tofu.

Cover and bake 30 minutes. Remove cover and bake for another 10 minutes. Let stand, 5 minutes before serving. Makes 8 servings.

* To remove the moisture from the tofu, wrap in kitchen towel and press.
