Which Hawaii islands should we visit and how to split up an 8-day honeymoon? - tan hiking boots
They prefer the city life (shopping, visiting historical sites, some on foot) as a tan all day at the beach. But of course, is in Hawaii, if you want a view of the beach environment. Sees between surfing the internet so from Oahu and Maui are my best options (the first time for both of us).

I am planning a honeymoon, and 8 days, and we decided to Maui and Oahu. Airlines to Hawaii excellent results in approximately 120 round-) return per person (for flights to other islands of Oahu and Maui and back. GO! is $ 20 per person less, but I'm terrified to go bankrupt before we get there (and you do not receive your money if they do not). Maui has a vine that I am dying to see and many tourist attractions and shopping opportunities in the drive to Hana. I pack an extra bag just for sparkling wines, pineapple! Oahu has wonderful shops in Waikiki, and both places are very active in the apnea / parasailing / etc Waikiki is probably the most important shopping in Hawaii, Maui, but offers many versatile options. Consider both, 4 days each will have enough time to have fun, without getting bored!
Hawaii To see the "real" - the Big Iceland go --- Mounatin, volcanoes, beaches, snorkeling, lava, waterfalls, forests, etc. .., in addition to the Hilo side of a very cool market with the purchase of products produced locally and then see the tourist side of Kona for shopping .. I think Kauai is the best honeymoon. It is not so much going on, but you will find things to do, shopping, hiking, diving or just on the beach.
Kauai is certainly one of, if not the most beautiful island chain of Hawaii.

After Waikiki on Oahu is the best choice for you!
We live on Oahu and many shops and many restaurants and entertainment venues .... entrtainment best place for you
other islands are very relaxed, they feel real small town ....
Maui is not a place for large purchases, such as Waikiki ....
So it went to Maui for a weekend .... rural and country real small town ....

wherever you go on vacation should be fun, but I live on the island of Oahu so privileged perspective GO TO KAUAI!. Next go to Maui. Oahu should be last option
